Activated Carbon
Activated carbon is a porous carbon which has the unique ability to trap compounds, mostly organic, present in gas o liquid.
This product is made from coconut shells and can adsorb a wide range of substances, in other words, it is able to mantain in the inside surface molecules and therefore it is called adsorbents. Adsorption is responsible for puriying, deodorize and declorize the water or other solids, liquids or gases in which como into contact with the adsorbent element.
Our activated carbon is used in the following applications:
- Air and Gas Phase Application
The below products are typically used in Air and Gas Phase applications for treatment of odours, industrial air filtration, exhaust fumes removal, industrial and chemical processing.
- Water and Waste Treatment
The below products are used for water and waste water treatment applications which include elimination of pesticides and other pollutants, de-chlorination, taste and odour removal.
- Gold Recovery
The following products are used extensively in gold mines to extract gold from ores or tailings in gold mines.
- Cigarrette Filters
The below grades are primarily used in cigarette filters.
- Powder Carbons
Fine mesh powder carbons are predominantly used in home water filters and point of use water purification systems. Our advanced facility ensures that grades are controlled with utmost precision.
